INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IS THE RESULT OF IDEAS AND CONTAINS BOTH TANGIBLE AND INTANGIBLE WORKS "SUCH AS BOOKS, WORDS, CODE, PICTURES, VIDEOS, LOGOS AND SLOGANS".
Copyrights and Trademarks are two different types of intellectual property. Customers must protect their intellectual property and ensure that the intellectual property rights of third parties are not infringed.
Copyright protects tangible original works, such as photographs on websites. Copyright laws vary from country to country, but copyright is usually enjoyed when the work is completed. In many countries or regions, it is also possible to register copyright with the copyright office of the government.
The owner of the copyright property has the exclusive right to reproduce, display, distribute, sell or perform his work, or to convert his work into a derivative work. The owner of the copyright property can control how his work is used, and other persons who want to use his work must obtain his permission. If someone uses a copyrighted work without the permission of the owner of the property, the copyright may be infringed.
Trademarks protect unique signs or words that identify and distinguish their own merchants or products among other merchants or products.
Once registered, the trademark has specific protection regulations, and the trademark owner has the exclusive right to use the trademark it declares for specific goods or services. Trademark rights may be infringed if a trademark is used without permission and causes the relevant consumers to confuse and misidentify their brand, goods or services.
